Aldbury

The idyllic little village of Aldbury in Hertfordshire has so much history, with quaint little cottages and being used as a set for various TV productions. This countryside hotspot is just a short stroll through the countryside from the Grand Union canal making it a perfect day out.

How to get here: Moor up near bridge 135 and head north along Station Road (it takes about 25 minutes to get to Aldbury). Alternatively, jump in a taxi at Tring Train station which is just a 2 minute walk from the same bridge.
