3 Reasons to Visit the Chilterns

Have you visited the Chilterns? The Chiltern Hills are a hidden little gem, and here are 3 great reasons to visit:

1. Countryside that you wouldn't want to miss. With the Chiltern Hills being a designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', you'll never be short of walking routes to explore, wildlife to discover or beauty spots to photograph.

2. Lots of history to discover -Obviously there is the tradition of canal living on the Grand Union to enjoy while you holiday with us. Plus, the local towns of Berkhamsted and Tring with their cobbled streets have an array of historic buildings to appreciate and one of the oldest motte-and-bailey castles, Berkhamsted Castle is well worth a visit while you are there.

3. The Chilterns are so easy to get to! Located just outside the M25, the Chilterns are easily accessible from most of the south east, especially London. You can be here in less then an hour by train from Euston Station making it a perfect destination for a quick weekend getaway.
